Further EUR 206.9m in EU grants to be made available to companies

Budapest, December 21 (MTI) – The economy ministry will soon call tenders for another 65 billion forints (EUR 206.9m) worth of European Union funding available to companies, business daily Vilaggazdasag said on Monday.
The ministry told the paper that it will call tenders for a total of 88 billion forints worth of EU funds by the end of the year. Bidding will open no earlier than 30 days after the calls for tenders are published.
Vilaggazdasag said that about half of the planned 60 tenders for economic development funding were called in 2015. In the coming days, the economy ministry will call another 18 tenders for EU funding, seven of which will be open to companies, with the rest applying to priority projects, the paper said.
