Hungary’s budget deficit 108.8 pc/full-year target in November

Budapest, December 7 (MTI) – Hungary’s cash-flow-based budget deficit, excluding local councils, was 970.7 billion forints at the end of November, or 108.8 percent of the full-year target, the economy ministry said in a first reading of data released on Monday.

The ministry said that it expected to hit the targeted shortfall of 2.4 percent calculated according to European Union methodology.

Last November the budget posted a surplus of 95.9 billion forints while the deficit in the first ten months came to 713.7 billion.
