Expert forecasts unchanged migration pressure despite winter

Budapest, November 3 (MTI) – The pressure of migration is not expected to decrease despite the approach of winter, an expert of the Migration Research Institute said on Tuesday.

Bianka Speidl told public news channel M1 that cold weather will not discourage those that set off from war zones and they will continue to put pressure on the borders. There is nothing that would hold these people back, she added.

The migrants could pose a problem for Europe because many of them are in a marginalised position due to their social status in addition to their religion, Speidl said.
