Evopro hybrid bus presented in Eger

Budapest (MTI) – Evopro Systems Engineering Ltd. began urban vehicle family. The investment was realized with the support of the European Union and the nearly HUF 670 million support of the Hungarian state, a HUF 1.365 billion total cost.

According to the notice, a self-propelled, increased-capacity trolleybus will be developed, which will be a good alternative of the downtown bus traffic, because it partly does not move track-bound, so it can quickly adapt peak traffic situations and urban structure.

Laszlo Kovacs project manager told MTI: two bus prototypes have been developed so far, in the 8 meter-category, an electric bus and a range extender-powered bus. The development of a 9.5 meter-long trolleybus, the CNG bus and the electric version is been under construction.
