On this Weekend: The Night of the Theaters
New theater season is begginning with the Night of the Theaters, programturizmus.hu says.
The event will be held for the third time, this year in 20th September. The aim is for the spectators to learn about theaters from a totally different perspective, get access behind the scenes and know the new sides of the actors.
According to programturizmus.hu, there will be 300 programmes and 28 places – 27 theaters and one Theater Point. One of the mission of the Night of the Theaters is to draw attention to the diversity of the participating theaters. The other, equally important mission is to draw attention to the theaters as a popular form of entertainment, especially with regard to the children through family activities.
Children’s performances, tales, arts and crafts with face painting, actor hide and seek, slide shows, puppets will be organized for the children. The adults can learn about synchronization, speak technology and many other programmes, including drama lesson, scenery construction, presentation, public lighting test and public dance rehearsals with the audience. The backstage and the local legends also will be presented.
The programmes will be party free, partly be able to get attended with ticket. The price of the tickets contains the entry for everywhere, but some of the events will be limited.
